1 NO POVERTY
End poverty in all its forms everywhere
Even if operating in a fortunate environment, we are aware of poverty also in our neighborhood. We try to reach out a hand to support the less fortunate. We do have the Norwegian salary standards for all employees.
2 ZERO HUNGER
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture
We take our social responsibilities serious, and support organizations that helps families/others that are struggling. It is important to understand that hunger and poverty might not be a distant issue and could be a reality for any of us.
3 GOOD HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
Ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages
The company is providing health care programs and access to training facilities. We are flexible and encourage exercising whenever possible.
4 QUALITY EDUCATION
Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all
We have program for training of crew and do also want to have trainee positions onboard where possible. We have established cooperation with educational institutions and are interested in supporting student in their education.
5 GENDER EQUALITY
Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls
We have established code of ethics and strong policies against discrimination. We have employed women in positions onboard our tugs and believe this will make the company stronger.
6 CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION
Ensure availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all
We are testing onboard drinking water regularly by authorized body. Our procedures for hygiene and sanitation are as per Norwegian regulations.
7 AFFORDABLE AND CLEAN ENERGY
Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all
We have participated in and are supporting projects for emission free propulsion systems and will seek all opportunities to see the same implemented. In immediate term, system for reducing/ monitoring emissions are implemented.

Our ambition is to provide attractive and sustainable jobs for all the employees. We need to ensure enough value creation contributing to economic growth for all interested parties.

We have established innovative and effective business management systems as a fundament for continuous improvement. We always strive for improving ourselves and to take on an innovative mindset when facing challenges.

Being a Norwegian based company, we have employees from the whole of Europe. All employees are employed on Norwegian terms including salary and benefits. We treat all employees with the same respect and strive to treat everybody equal. At the same time we recognize that there are cultural differences that we need to consider and respect.

We are proud of being included part of the Florø/Kinn environment and do our out most to make social contribution to activities as improve the standard of life for citizens. We also focus on hiring as well as making procurement locally whenever possible.
12 RESPONSIBLE CONSUMPTION AND PRODUCTION
Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns
We are member of the NOx fund which aim to reduce emissions. We also have system that monitors and guide our tugs to reduce emission while in operation. We also have systems to take care of garbage and grey/black water.
13 CLIMATE ACTION
Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts*
We have entered a fleet renewal program as over time will ensure tugs with less consumption. We are also exploring emission free tugs and contribute to find practical ways to implement the same.
14 LIFE BELOW WATER
Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development
We are exploring less toxic antifouling and have very strict system to avoid spills in connection with bunkering operations. Nothing is deposed to sea. We are also a part of the coastal preparedness to avoid grounding/sinking of vessel in distress.
15 LIFE ON LAND
Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss
Our contribution is related to garbage handling and a strong environmental policy.
16 PEACE, JUSTICE AND STRONG INSTITUTIONS
Promote peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels
Being a Norwegian based company in a peaceful corner of the world, we are fortunate to be luckier than many others globally. But still we need to be focused to ensure that we are on track in these matters and have established a set of policies to guide us in the daily work.
